The China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, themed “Building a Community of Life for Man and Nature – Future Society of Green Development,” draws its form from traditional bamboo slips and unfolded calligraphy scrolls, embodying deep-rooted cultural symbolism. Its facade, resembling bamboo-yellow walls inscribed with 119 classic poems in five script styles, flows into an open, column-free interior bathed in natural light. The pavilion seamlessly blends ancient aesthetics with cutting-edge tech, showcasing China’s cultural heritage, ecological vision and innovation on the global stage.
