The Japan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, themed “Between Lives,” features a striking circular timber façade symbolizing life cycles, built from innumerable wooden planks that connect inner and outer spaces. Designed by Nikken Sekkei, it blends indoor and outdoor environments, alternating light and shadow across varying spatial scales to engage all five senses.
